As a cello-piano duo, Dilbag Tokay and Emine Serdaroglu combine Classical repertory with the works of the modern composers and bring a blend of musical styles to the concert stage. Their repertory range from the works of Classical composers to the 20th century masters. They also perform and do the premiers of the works of contemporary Turkish composers. Since 1999, as a duo, they have extensively given concerts in Istanbul’s prestigious concert halls. They have also participated in festivals and other organizations in other cities with the aim of promoting classical music in Turkey. Turkish television channels, TRT and NTV have broadcasted concerts of the duo. Abroad, they have given well received performances in Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, Cyprus and Bulgaria. As a duo, they have participated in music academies with the sponsorship of Vehbi Koc Foundation and Turkish Foreign Affairs Ministry where they had the opportunity to work with artists such as cellists Frieder Berthold, Niels Ullner and pianists Carlo Levi Minzi, Ratko Delorko, Paul Trein and Carl Ponten. In Germany, during the opening concert of the Piano and Chamber Music Academy they executed as soloists with the orchestra the premier of Paul Trein's composition "Old English Landscapes: Surrey”. As a duo, they enjoyed getting together and performing with Turkish and international artists in various chamber music groups.
